Chassis and Bulkhead Replacements

At Brawler we are now offering a bulkhead and chassis replacement service. If your chassis or bulkhead have become corroded to the point when they are structurally weakened and past economical repair, then a new replacement is likely the best option.

The new chassis we use are galvanised steel which gives them an extremely long lasting rust and corrosion resistance. If the silver zinc galvanised finish is not for you, we can paint your chassis a fresh black or for that matter – any colour you choose!

We can supply you with a new chassis or you are welcome to provide your own. Labour prices for a chassis replacement start at £1650 + VAT. Many customers also opt to change parts such as brake lines, suspension bushes and the clutch during this procedure as the labour to change them with the body removed is less than when the vehicle is a whole. Prices for a bulkhead replacement are comparable with the labour starting at £1550 + VAT. The replacement of the bulkhead is a fairly involved process as it requires the removal and refitting of the main wiring harness, dashboard and instruments along with the ancillaries such as heater, wiper motor and the pedal assemblies.
